About Us
Creating pathways todignity & justice.
To unite and empower refugee, migrant, and internally displaced sex workers in all their diversity to claim their rights, live with dignity, and lead their own advocacy.
Our focus centers refugee, migrant, stateless, and internally displaced sex workers in all our beautiful diversities, creating safe avenues for collective growth and structural equity.

A radiant future whereno one is left behind.
A world free from stigma and violence, where all sex workers have access to justice, health, safety, and protection.
Our ultimate goal is ensuring unconditional and equal access to safety, economic opportunity, bodily autonomy, and fundamental human rights for everyone within our community frameworks.

Building collective power throughleadership & action.
To strengthen a feminist, community-led movement that advances the rights, safety, health, dignity, leadership, and social justice of refugee, migrant, and internally displaced sex workers through advocacy, crisis response, leadership development, and community empowerment.
By scaling structural safety and breaking down systemic blocks, we build resilient, protected environments where refugee, migrant, and internally displaced sex workers reclaim voice and collective agency over their lives.
KNESWO emerged from necessity amid the COVID-19 crisis, when refugee, migrant, stateless, and internally displaced sex workers were overlooked by humanitarian aid, policymakers, donors, and refugee-serving organizations. Lacking food, healthcare, safe housing, protection, and recognition, five refugee and migrant sex workers organized to fill the void. What began as a survivor-led group has grown into a powerhouse providing direct services, leading campaigns, and representing communities at local, national, and global levels. Our history embodies resilience, courage, and resistance to erasure.
