Feminist Justice,Rising
A grassroots feminist collective led by refugee, migrant, stateless, and internally displaced sex workers building power through solidarity, healing, and justice.
We begin from thoseoften left unheard.
We are the first feminist organization in Kenya led by refugee, migrant, stateless and internally displaced sex workers in all our diversities.
We confront systemic discrimination, legal invisibility, forced displacement, homelessness, economic exclusion, and shrinking safe spaces, while amplifying silenced voices at the center of movement-building.

Presence in Moments ofCrisis and Solidarity

In the aftermath of a devastating fire in Kibera, KNESWO members visited affected residents to offer support, listen to urgent needs, and stand in solidarity with the community.
Residents acknowledged KNESWO’s presence on the ground, expressing immediate needs for shelter, food, and protection. The moment reflected both urgency and mutual recognition.
This is not just documentation — it is witnessing. It is feminist response work rooted in presence, care, and accountability.

“Joining KNESWO gave me the tools to stand up for my peers. We are no longer victims; we are advocates defending our rights and negotiating our safety.”
